Who Knows The Ford 3.9L?

Hey guys.........been a while.

I know a few of you are Ford engine fanatics, so I thought I would drop by and ask for your opinions. I bought myself an LS with a DOHC 3.9L, and I know absolutely NOTHING about this engine! Just wanted to see if some of you guys know of any good resources for researching it's capabilities or modifications. LS forums are kinda few and far between, and I don't even know what other vehicles Ford threw this thing into, so I don't know what other forums/sites to research.

Welcome back... I know they sound good with Flowmasters, but thats about it.

You might check out some of the thunderbird/super coupe sites, my firends super couple had a 3.9L, though I'm not sure if it's the same motor.

Thanks for the wiki link link Justin............that threw a little more info than I had. I never put the connection to the Jag-S together, but always thought they looked similar.

Anyone have any personal experience with this motor?
