Wierd Brake Peddle Stiffness

I was sking over xmas and one am when I got up and started the truck, I depressed the cluch and took it out of gear, forgetting I hadn't set the emerg brake. The truck started rolling and the peddle was hard as a rock and didn't slow it at all. I got the engine started and was able to stop it rolling. Now, back at home, when I press the brake before starting I get some brake travel and some braking.

Does this indicated a particular problem? Fix?

My gut response is your brake fluids need to be flushed and replaced from the master cylinder down to the brake to each wheel. I think you have some moisture contamination in the system.

Not a hard job and not too expensive either.
