Will 15" rims fit on a 2002 Explorer Eddie Bauer 4wd?

Hi guys,

I'm new to the forum. I have an '02 Explorer Eddie Bauer currently sitting on 22" rims. I know that the truck came with 16" factory rims but I want to find out if 15" rims will have enough clearance to mount on? Just trying to put some winter tires on the 15" rims and storing the 22's till next summer.

some will some won't have to try them to see for sure. The contour of the inside/backside of the wheel makes the differance.

a 15" rim will not fit a 2002. They will not clear the brake calipers.

they will also hit a part of the spindle on the bottom
