will a explorer steering wheel fit a mustang

hi im looking to change all my interior to black as i have tan in my 94 mustang and it seems the explorers steering wheels are cheaper.i have a 97 explorer and the both look the same but i figured i would check with you guys first .the air bag even look the same just differnt logos.anyone know thanks

Steering Wheel

Not sure if an X wheel would fit your stang, as there may be issues with the air bag in particular. Guess you might just pull the 2 and check them out.

I had the wheel off my GTS and replaced it with one from a 97 GT. Look around at the recyclers and see if they have a newer model that they will sell the wheel from.

Not sure if your aware of this, but there has been an FRPP wheel available for the last couple of years. Part # M-3601-B sells for as low as $ 150.00
