will a spare tire from a 2000 fit a 2002 (we are trashing the 2000)

we do not have a spare for the 2002 and checking if we can cannibalize the one from our 2000? Never used on the 2000, but I don't like to be without one.

It depends on which 2002 model you are talking about. If it's a Sport or Sport Trac, it's the correct wheel. If it's a 2002 4 door, the bolt pattern is the same, but the offset is different...the wheel will stick out further from the wheelwell than the the stock 2002 wheel. You should bolt it on and also check the fit around the center hub.

Also, if the 2000 wheel is a 15" it will not fit since the 2002 came with 16's to clear the front knuckle and lower control arm.
