will a t5 tranny fit

i wa woundering if anyone knows if a new t5 tranny from ford will fit my 92 explorer sport. the t5 comes in the 90 to 94 mustangs. if not what is the best tranny to get for a replacment. or should i go rebuild

The t-5 wont bolt to a 4.0. Check with Advanced Adapters. If you don't plan on doing something silly like an engine swap then I'd stick with a rebuilt tranny.
