Well all of you sound like you know a lot about explorers..so im going to see what yall think cause im new at them. Im going to run the 5.5 Superlift also a 3inch body lift, then im going to put 2inch coil spacers and do some custom work to get 2more inchs out of the back. Will I clear 35x14.50 tires? Will I rub when turning on regular driving?

that is too much lift, that much is bad... you shouldnt do coil spacers with the lift, will throw camber way out..... 35s should fit with the 5.5" and some trimming.... however, the 3" bl may be overkill... why go that big in the first place? do a soloid axle instead.... do a search... you have much to learn.....

Well a buddy of mine here has a 5.5 and 3inch body and has 35x12.50. His looks just like how i want mine to look. I just wanted to go a lil higher thats why i was going to put the coil spacers. Sorry for not knowing everything yall are tlaking abotu but i know some..But what do you mean by camber way out?

you could do it... but the camber may be off to unrealistic specs... cuasing premature tire wear and other problems.... there is way too much to describe here... i am not trying to jump on your case or be a jerk... but there is a lot of help if you use the search button, also check out the useful threads forum.....

and welcome to the site......

So theres no way that I can do all that lift and somehow do it to where my tires wont bow out so my tires wont wear down fast? Cause thats really the height I wanted to go. Im not really wanting to change to a solid axle either cause this is going to be my everyday driver. Go offroad every now and then.

That's a whole lotta lift. I wouln't want that much, ESPECIALLY on a DD. Or on the TTB either. What does your buddy have this lift on? Why do you need an extreme lift for occasional offroading? I'd tone it down a bit.

Oh, and theres lot more to a capable offroad truck than a big lift and tires, IE lockers, flex, and driving skill. I'd go shorter and lock it up if you want offroad prowess.

I'd put 35x12.50s with a 6-7" lift.

Offroad19, your talking about Wilks truck the maroon 1st gen with 35" goodyears :D

Yeah my girl lives in OS and i live in Biloxi.

IMO i believe it is possible to do the 5.5 and 3" BL and clear 35's it might be a lil tougher to get the 14.5's on there though. But i would have to agree that the coil spacers wouldn't be a good idea.

Why don't you stick with 35x12.5's?

BTW i drive the white '97 with 33x12.5's, i'm always around N 8th street in the evenings, and off washington in the afternoons, keep an eye out fer me!
