Will tail lights fit?

I found a sweet looking pair of tails on ebay, but for some reason they say they will only fit the 4 door model, I have a sport (2dr.) Most other sellers and manufacturers don't make this distinction. Are they right about this? Do the 99 sports and 99 4 door explorers have different tails? My friend has a 4 door and it looks the same to me.

Try this...

Swap out one of your friend's lights with yours and see if it fits. If so, ask for the part number of the light you're buying, and for the refund policy if it doesn't fit.

If anything, it might have something to do with the way the tail attaches/bolt pattern or something similar. Or maybe the bulbs don't fit in the sockets, either way, if they say it doesn't fit... refund policy.
