Left rear quarter panel, below D pillar. Tail light to left.
You can see the faster I plan to use and the hole. Fastner is currently offset from the hole. Of course I'll remove the paint first, just wanted to know if it would be sufficient. This will make the ground wire about 10 inches.

If it helps, I don't mind running two grounds. One to the common seat mount screw.

Amp is a Kicker DX250.1, so it's not like it's a big amp.

Holding off installation until I hear info on this.

It's probably fine.

Biggest consideration besides making sure the wires are big enough and the ground point is solid is usually making the ground wire as short as possible, 10 inches should be good.

Having a common ground when using multiple amps (like a 4 channel for the speakers and one for the sub) is also a good idea but is more of a precaution and isn't usually necessary in budget installs unless there's an operational issue.

Took body to metal, cleaned up bolt and fastner.
Installed, then primed.

It's a 4 awg ground. Previous owner had a kicker amp and sub installed to replace the original. When I installed the third row seats, everything for the amp had to be reconfigured.
