I put my lund windjammer on with the sticky tape only. I didnt put the screws in because im not sure if i like it enough, and im kind of a pussy. Will it hold up? and what are my chances of running this through a carwash?

LOL, unless you want your truck all scratched up. Then the touchless ones are just that, they never seem to get a vehicle clean. I prefer my driveway, that's where the best jobs are done. If I have to break down I go to the do it yourself car washes and take a bucket and soap too, sssshhh don't tell.

Thanks, I think I like it.

hey i was thinking about puttin this on my ex. They come unpainted right? so you have to get em painted... unless your ghetto as hell

yes, they come as black plastic in need of paint.

Did you have to paint your Bling? I think I read somewhere that they come in shiney black finish.

If you did paint it how did you do it and where did you match the color?

Thanks

the tape WILL hold up. god help you the day you have to take it off. that tape is strong as all he11. it won't budge, car wash or not.

Yes, I had to paint mine. I chose body color match paint from http://www.paintscratch.com/

That pic was before the wheels, when I got the wheels the wing tape was coming off so I took it off and replaced the tape with better stuff but never got around to putting it back on. I kinda like it with out the wing... gotta change it up every once an a while

re

that looks pretty good. and i helped a buddy get one of those fake hoods scoops off, held on my 3m tape...holy hell that thing was on there. we broke it getting it off. but i dont go to these car washes either. drveway, or the high pressure drive-in do it yourself type, even in the winter.

how is ur truck so shiny !
