Window system replacement

Ok, so they brake into my truck on the driver side, the break the window and the bar that holds the window in place. This is the bar that keeps the window in place as it gose up and down. I now have to pull the window down with 2 hands and put a door stop in the groove to keep it from doing a dive. Im thinking i should go to the junk yard and get a whole new door with a working window. What do you guys think is the best thing to do here. Thanks!!

Why don't you just get the part that's broken from the junk yard?
Have you looked to see if you can purchase that part separately?
It may part of the window regulator assembly which I'm sure is available new or used.

Agreed- just find out what you need to replace, no sense in replacing the whole door, it's just bolted in, it wasn't born there...
