window won't work, searched

Well my drivers window is stuck down. I took apart the door and tried to hit it a little, push the glass up by hand, etc and got nothing. I can hear a clicking when I use the button so I assume the motor is getting power and trying to push it up. Is it just the gears? If so, how hard are they to change? I saw on www.partsamerica.com that a new motor is $100 and a new gear kit is $25. I just need to know which to buy. Thanks alot.

Damn, even the "cheap" place the guy found was like $120 or something for my car (I have a 95). I think I'll take it to a shop tomorrow and at least get an estimate. Thanks.
