MY 95 EXPLORER HAS A WEIRD PROBLEM,
ONCE IN A WHILE THE POWER TO THE WINDOWS
AND MOONROOF GETS CUT OFF, CANT OPEN MY WINDOWS OR ROOF FOR A DAY OR TWO.
WHEN THIS HAPPENS THE 4WD/4WD LOW LIGHTS BEGIN TO BLINK ON THE DASH.
THEN SUDDENLY POWER COMES BACK ON AGAIN.
COULD IT BE A PROBLEM WITH THE ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM.
DOES ANYONE HAVE THIS PROBLEM?

That sounds crazy. For a day or two? What if you got caught with everything open?

I dunno what it could be but I'd get it checked out.

Welcome to the site Luis!

I'm going to redirect this question over to the General Explorations Forum were you may find a better answer.

I myself have never heard of the issue you have with your X, but best of luck and let us know what you find.

Happy postin'!:)

P.S. Luis, please write your posts in regular print. Writing in Caps is often construed as yelling and it is more difficult to read. Thanks.

Does it lose power after rain, or if you wash your truck? Or does it not matter if it's wet or dry?

Hi, this is my first post on this forum but seems like a wealth of knowledge here. My wife's 96 explorer has the same problem as exp95. The windows may work when you shut it off but when you start it again, they may not. It does not happen all the time, it may last 2 minutes or half an hour. At the same time the 4wd/4wd low light will flash like 5 or 6 times and keep this up in 30 to 45 second intervals. It seems to happen much more in the summer than winter. We dropped it off at a mechanics a few days ago and he checked the grounds but it did not fix it because it happened again today. This time she wiggled the ignition switch and they worked, but I am not sure if it is coincodence because we tried it before and didn't seem to do anything? And yes none of the switches work when this happens. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks
