windshield wiper removal

i just bought some new wipers, can i cannot firgure out how the heck to get the old ones off. not just the blades, but the thing that holds them too is what im trying to get off.

pull up the wiper arm and push the blade assembly so it's perpendicular to the arm (basically so it looks like this +) then push down on the blade assembly and it should just pop off. At least that is how it is set up on mine.

The wiper arm on mine has a hook on the end of it and you just push the blade on to the hook and it snaps in. hope this helps somewhat.
