So us folks up here in Canada get bit pretty good, so I bit the bullet, bought a set of Blizzards 245/45/20 and put em on my stock STA rims

I gotta say, I've had so many vehicles, but this truck is the best winter road performer I've ever had. If it looks a bit dicey, I lock it into 4x4 but rarely have to.

How are you all making out?

Central Saskatchewan, its my second year on 245/65/17 Blizzaks. The truck is a tank. When I throw my Ecopia's on in the spring I do notice quite a bit of a jump in fuel economy. at least 2l/100k better.

My 06 explorer does very well in the snow. I always wondered if theres much difference between the Explorer and the Sport Trac for winter driving.

Mine sucked in the snow when new because the OE Goodyears just didn't cut it. Mercifully they wore out pretty fast and I got Firestone A/T's that are much better.
