I've purchased two sets of OEM wipers to replace my pair that came on the vehicle, which streaked, and all of them streak on the drivers side at eye level on the down wipe and where they overlap on the windshield. So annoying.

^ That's exactly where the old pair would leave a waterline, starting right where the driver's side wiper hits the stop line of the passenger side wiper.

clean your windshield with a polish or clay bar it, apply rain repellant and then new wipers
sometimes its lack of pressure or some built up dirt in my experience. sometimes the dirt is too far in, so yes a good glass polish and an aggressive pad has worked wonders in my experience, for glass i use the griots glass polish & pad, has worked well for these kinds of things. clay is a good first start, since more people have that than the power tools. how do you get rain repellant not to streak? i can get coatings not to streak and what not, but have always noticed some weird lighting effects sometimes streak soemtimes some weird refraction in direct sun w/ rain repellant.
