I have someone that has a lead on a 5 ring binder for the Wiring Diagram book I have.
The book itself is 11" x 17" x 2"
You can look for days and not find ONE 3 ring or 5 ring binder that works with the Ford books.
I have had several sent to me and returned.
I found out that there are only 2 actual manufactures of all types of binders and the parts come from (you guessed it) China
If you are interested in keeping your book intact and not have it fall apart, like mine, shoot me a message.
I don't have the price right now but I believe it will be in the range of $80.00 for the binder + shipping.
If I get enough people interested maybe I can get a deal to help us out.
I should be finding out all the information within the next week or so.

They sell binders where the d rings slide.

OK Send me the link because after days of looking I can't find ANYTHING for a landscape 11 x 17 manual
FORD doesn't even sell them and it is THEIR book that is falling apart

Cardinal Premier Easy Open 11" x 17", Locking Slant-D Ring Binder, 2", Black (12132) https://a.co/d/hnxVsMk

Cardinal® Slant-D® Ring 11" x 17" Tabloid ClearVue™ Binders, 2" Rings, 63% Recycled, White https://a.co/d/6DpyEjr

Can probably even get it local. We called 11x17 “tabloid” when I did my time as an electrical drafter.

I have sent so many binders back because they don't match up with the holes that Ford put in their manuals.
The first hole from the top or from the bottom is 5/8" , middle is 4.25" IF I was to just use 3 holes.
The other two holes are 1 3/8" on either side of the center hole and they are 2 3/4" C/L to C/L of the top and bottom holes
Sooooo If by chance you have one and can measure the top, center and bottom that would be really appreciated.
All this research and I just needed a different word “tabloid”? Uggg!
$21.00 is so much cheaper than the $80.00 the MFG was talking about if it works.

There’s also things called binding posts that can reliably hold a book together for field service with any hole spacing, but they don’t have the lay flat feature of a D ring.

The answer was too close. These are what we used for our drawings. They use a stainless steel strap that threads through any two holes, and is cinched with a clamp. I’m completely confident this will work for you. The operation is hard to explain. Hold momentarily….

This is the same type of mechanism. The tabloid ones, the metal bar spans the entire height. Another bonus of these is if your holes start getting hogged out you can swap to a different pair.

I've seen those! OK Thanks!
We have a staples close by! I'll take the book there and try it out! Thanks again!

No problem. Hope it works for you.
