I took out the 6 CD changer from the center console in 98 Explorer XLT that has the Premium Sound System. I wanted to keep the main headunit, but use the old wiring to connect to another audio source (like a laptop).
But ford used a wiring harness plug to connect to the CD Changer. Does anybody know if there is an after market wiring harness adaptor that can be purchased to attach to the plug (that was connected to the changer) in order to change it to RCA cables or any types of audio cable?
Thanks
