if anyone could help me out i have a 96 limited with electronic climate control and i got a new blower speed controller out of a 98-99 mountaineer. the parts looks almost the same but the plug shape is different i need to know what wires to splice from the mountainer plug into my 96 exploere limited. thanks in advance

I have 2 wiring diagrams for both years. I know there are 5 wires involved. Do you have part of the harness from the mountaineer controller? The colors on the wiring diagram are the same.
yup the plug from the mountaineer match the colors you listed so your saying the colors from my truck should match also? i have no flash light to check lol sorry. i need heat its supposed to be cold tomorrow. thanks man
