Hi

I looked at a lot of post I am looking for the layout of components on board. I want to use the compass on a project involving me removing the digital display and having it separate from board. (hacking the board.)the sensor would be about 4 feet from compass display. On one of the sites there is a good photo of the board and I was hoping someone would have the circuit plans / schematic. The display could be removed from board and wired via ribbon connectors/wire.

Maybe someone can help with that. Those consoles are pretty cheap at the salvage yard.

Thanks

I know I am crossing post here, but I know this will work. I am going to use the sensor for the lead on a rotator satelite dish with remote compass read out in house.I priced these items from electrical hobby supply houses and to make a setup verses hacking one is a difference of a lot of money. And you have something that is engineered ,And your right the yards are full for the asking of a few dollars. Thanks in advance.

Ok, that's a cool idea... :D

Thanks

I need to eliminate all the other things temp and so forth and what ever else I don't want once I get the thing working I will post photos. This will give me the SW heading in degrees and the parking location when stowing the satelite in its traveling position.I forgot to mention this is going on the roof of my motor home.

As an overhead console? Even cooler now... :D
