won't shift into O/D

[1994navajo]

I was wondering if anyone could tell me what is wrong with my transmission on my 1994 navajo, when im driving it won't shift into O/D for some reason. any help please PM me. -thanks-

Lot of info about that here. In short, either a bad 3-4 shift solenoid, a 3-4 shift solenoid with a screen that is plugged or possibly wiring issues or sensor issues. Possible VB issues as well.

Welcome to this forum! If it is not any of those parts, then check the VSS, and OD band's adjustment. Did you drop the pan to see if there are any metal parts in it? Your OD band could have broken. Sometimes the rubber pistons rot out, but that piston is very difficult to replace while it is still on the vehicle. Check the rest of this stuff first.
