ok, i just finished putting my M5OD in my truck, it was previously an automatic, so there are gona be wires taht have no homes, i understand that part, but on the tranny there are female plugs with no male plugs to go to it, so i was wondering if any of this would contribute to my truck not starting. my battery is prolly dead, cause i get power to everything, and when i push the clutch, cause that stupid safty switch, the battery guage goes to zero and back up after i let the key go. so thats one starting problem, but them wires, would they cause future starting problems????

does it maybe have something to do with the ignition switch in the steering colum?

it shouldnt cause i turn the key i get power to everyting, radio, windows, door locks ,lights, everyting so i dont think its the ignition switch, i mean it worked fine before the tranny swap! sooo i dont know
im tryin to charge the battery now, its taking for ever tho, i let it charge over night, and it still hasent done much, im wonderin if it isnt that stupid charger!

hmm strange...i know when you go from manual to automatic usually something in the steering colum has to be changed out or something. i cant rememebr tho.

well i know u usually take the stering column out cause of the automatic shifter is still in it, and it bugs people, i know that lol! im not taking mine out, cause i dont wana skrew with it! i can just rip the shifter off it, and it will be fine!
i was never told anything else about the column
