Recently I took the X to a trusted mechanic and got quoted $500 for a brake job. I went ahead and got the entire brake system re-built with two new rear rotors, and re-surfaced front rotos, and new Raybestos pads all around. I was going through withdrawl not having my truck for the entire weekend, but somehow I managed (The Taurus did NOT help).
Anyway, my dad pulls up to school with the truck (I didn't expect this), and grinned. I hugged the truck, and welcome it back. I drove it back home, and couldn't believe how good the brakes felt. They were in really bad shape apparently. Now the truck stops faster than the stupid car
There really isn't a point to this post, but just to say I love my truck, and it's so hard to see it goto a shop and watch it get worked on. It's even harder to lose it for 4 days
But it's back now, and I have some rice to stomp now
