Recently I took the X to a trusted mechanic and got quoted $500 for a brake job. I went ahead and got the entire brake system re-built with two new rear rotors, and re-surfaced front rotos, and new Raybestos pads all around. I was going through withdrawl not having my truck for the entire weekend, but somehow I managed (The Taurus did NOT help).

Anyway, my dad pulls up to school with the truck (I didn't expect this), and grinned. I hugged the truck, and welcome it back. I drove it back home, and couldn't believe how good the brakes felt. They were in really bad shape apparently. Now the truck stops faster than the stupid car ;)

There really isn't a point to this post, but just to say I love my truck, and it's so hard to see it goto a shop and watch it get worked on. It's even harder to lose it for 4 days :( But it's back now, and I have some rice to stomp now :D

Hehe, yeah. I got new tires for my baby yesterday, and just came walking inside from washing her. I know what you mean about that random "I love my truck" feeling :)

I, too, am feeling the immense love for my truck...just got her new wheels and tires and she looks pimp...

I love my truck...I just have to stop beating her everytime I drive her... :D :D :D
