i have a 93 Explorer xlt, and it has a lot of work to be done to it, want to know if you know how much this stuff will cost where to get it, or if i should even fix it. also any tips about fixing it will help

2 Door Panels
1 inside door handle wont work,
1 outside door handle wont work
all windows need new bushings in the motor
2 front seats
power steering leaks
new battery
center console
and the back doors are missing some pieces of the door panels

had about all the same problems, depending on the junkyard, honestly like 200$ at a U-pick, just bring your sockets. all except the P steering of course, might just need a new hose somewhere

thanks good to know i figured with the two seats, and door panels/console it would be a lot more

a few little things like that? geez that's nothing. i just put a new trans in my '93. next on the list is ball joints and a rear end rebuild. when that's finished, new headliner and having the front seats reupholstered. everything is a never-ending project for me though, so i guess thats how it goes.

ya all that is cheap, the power windows you just get little plastic things on ebay for like 5 bucks, i have an extra set and the gears at the house, all are really cheap for the whole thing, i would get that thing all fixed up, like sirkxls said about 200 bucks.

Junk yards are great sources of good parts. They love to get rid of the interior stuff, they will sell it cheap. They can't sell it for scrap like the steel. I just picked up some leather seats for $30 bucks a pop, to use for my resto project on my 94. I bought two complete rear doors for $160, and got both rocker panel/doglegs, from a rust free explorer for $25 a side.

It won't take alot to get yours fixed up.
