Would anyone be willing to make me the required brackets for the 3" PA body lift? I have no idea how to do it and I don't know anyone that will do anything like this for cheap.

well then, just buy the bumper brackets for another vehicle

I might be making some for mine here pretty soon (again). Your 2k is probably the same as my '99. I'll be cutting them out on a plasma cutter so making extras wont be a problem. I'll let you know...

thanks a lot......im not even really sure how to go about installing the kit but i guess i could figure it out.....best way would be if someone had pics of how they did it....i keep reading that people use 2x4's anyone got pics of this?

Here is one:

Okay.. so thats a little extreme.

All you do it put the 2x4s or 4x4s on the jack plate and jack it up between the frame and under the door jam. You'll see a pretty flat spot to lift against.

that pic might be convincing if there was a chassis under it :D

do these things come with good directions? possibly with pictures?

The directions are okay considering they're talking about a completely different truck! :D The best thing to do is study your ass off on here. The whole concept is pretty easy if you think about it. You're unbolting 10 bolts, raising a body a few inches, putting blocks under it, lowering it, rebolting. How hard could it be?! Just make sure you unbolt your radiator before you jack the body up.
