So I have a 2007 Sport trac XLT and I have gotten the wrench light about 3 weeks ago. From reading online I noticed a lot of people say their vehicles stall or don't want to run anymore when this light comes on. Well, when this light comes on nothing happens to my truck. Now I may believe the problem is coming from the 4x4 and this is where I need a better understanding. The wrench light turns on when I am running the vehicle a certain distance but when I shut the car off it goes away until I drive again for a long distance. The truck runs perfect and smoothly as if nothing is happening. When I turn on the 4x4 the truck still runs fine until I want to do a turn. When I want to do a turn with the 4x4 on the truck hesitates to turn. It's a rough feeling I can feel only in the the two front wheels. Any idea what it might be? Is it the 4x4? I've been doing a lot of reading online but can't find something completely related.
