THe truck has been sitting for 3 weeks. I drove it last week once and it wouldnt shift out of 3rd gear, and would misfire if you step hard on the gas, bogging the whole time. After 10 min it warmed up and began shifting fine. This week I tried driving it, now it's stuck in 3rd gear, unless you manually shift 1 or 2. In that case you get 2nd gear only, no first gear. Reverse feels like it's in overdrive and is also bogging down, misfiring etc. In Drive the truck won't roll downhill, it feels like a transbrake. It won't roll downhill unless you step on the gas, or pop in neutral.

THEN the CEL came on. I had 15 codes that I've never seen before. Here they are: P1451, P1409, P0765, P0014, P0840, P0084, P0A00, P2404, P0022, P0060, P0204, P0008, P0020, B2322, B0020, B1840, B0080, C0204, U0244, U0022, U0206. A minute later the scan gauge shows me 18 codes, I just gave up writing them down.

Obviously something very strange is falsely throwing all these codes out, but what? I had reflashed the stock tunefile last week because I'm selling the truck and need the tuner. So I reflashed the towing tune to see what happened, and it's still messed up.

Anyone have this problem before? I unhooked the battery but it didnt help. I had someone coming to buy the truck tomorrow too... guess that's not happening now.

Ok well either nobody gives a #### or nobody knows the answer, but here's what I found- I'll post this in case someone else is having the same issue.

I looked at the main wire harness connector located on the driver side valve cover. It is held together with one 10 mm bolt head. The contacts looked average, some were covered in a gel that's supposed to prevent corrosion. I cleaned that crap off and reconnected it just in case.

Then I looked at the engine bay fuse box. Inside there I found a melted 15 amp fuse. The contacts had some corrosion which caused arcing, which caused it to melt. I found it on the owners manual as #13 fuse. That fuse is a power source for the O2 sensor heat, cam sensor, evap sensor etc.... a lot of my codes were exactly what this fuse provides power to.

I cleaned the contacts on the fuse panel and replaced the fuse with new. Tomorrow I'll finish replacing the transmission and see if the CEL problem is solved.

OK, CEL problem is completely solved. That one fuse was causing absolute hell. It gave me 21 codes and the engine ran like crap. It was misfiring, no power, etc. I cleaned the contacts and installed new fuse. Starts and runs great now.

As for the tranny.....that's another thread.

hey man saw your thread good job glad you got it fix... thats many codes i would of s**t myslef, good luckwith the tranny!
