WTF is wrong with my Cruise Control!!!

I've searched, and haven't found a lot of info, so here I am.

My cruise worked for a while, then it worked every now and then, now it doesn't work at all.

HOWEVER...

The cruise light works just fine. Even when I hit the brakes, the cruise light cuts off. I'm making an 8 hour drive Sunday, so I wanna get this fixed ASAP.

Any ideas?

Mine was working from time to time and then not at all. I replaced the servo unit and it has been working great ever since. New they unit is about $150, I bought a used one from a salvage yard for $25 and replaced it myself in about 5 minutes.
