WTF...my cd's are stuck!!!

OK so I ejected a CD from slot 1 and pushed load then 1. It says CD error on EVERY single slot!!!! None of my CD's will come out, and I can't load any in. Plus the little window thingy that protects the loading hole is stuck open!! Why or what is causing this??

something like this happened with my changer, it turned out somebody jammed two cds into one of the slots and it jacked up the entire thing... i had to rip apart the changer to fix it.

This happens to my stock pioneer 6-disk head unit at least once a week on my 2001 sport. My HU froze and gave me a disk error in all 6 slots. I unplugged the battery for about 5 minutes and reset the deck. I was then able to load and eject cd's. I did notice with mine that it is an older deck, and the load and eject sequence takes a lot longer then a newer aftermarket HU. When you go to eject or load, give it a few seconds between each button you hit.(ex. Load+10sec+slot 1) The brain on my HU works slow and if I hit the bottons too fast it gives me the error. Im assuming to many commands at once confuses the HU.

I got it fixed temporarily...but I cracked my display right where the time is when I got pi**ed off and punched it..lol My hormones are raging right now.....I'm 5 months pregnant

I remember this happening to me before with a previous car. The CD was trying to come out but somehow got caught on the top lip of the CD slot. I stuck a butter knife in to guide the CD out. If this keeps happening you probably just need to replace the unit. I am guessing that they are too expensive to repair.
