Hey guys I need some help. Last night I was wiring some neons into my car through the cig lighter, I bought an adapter where I can have four spots for neons. So I wired 4 neons all through the cig lighter, and while I was doing this I had the A.C on but the car wasn't running. After about 20 minutes the A.C and music kicked off and I figured it was no big deal the battery drained and I could just jumpstart start. But after trying several times my X still won't start. So I then took the battery to Autozone and they charged the battery back up, but my truck still won't start, I don't even get a clicking noise or anything. Any suggestions?

Just curious, but.... why did you have the AC on with the motor off?

It was hot outside, and I figured it would make it more comfortable, but that didn't work.

You have the compressor running to get cool/cold air. The engine must be rinning.

It's like turning your key backwards for ACC, but turn it in the direction you would to start your car just not all that way and you get your A.C on, and I'm pretty sure the engine wasn't on, unless I was just not with it, which is possible.

Sorry, but the AC will NOT work unless the motor is on. The blower will but not thecompressor.

It sound like you blew your ignition fuse. Look for the fuse marked "Ignition" on the fuse block.

You were probably running too much current through the fuse without the motor running.

Hey guys the prob is fixed
i went and helped him install new battery cables, they were the problem, later

Yeah, with help from Adam the Explorer now runs! Thanks again Adam, and to those who helped.
