I have supercharged my 03 explorer & have tuned it with a xcal2 with the advantage 3 software but its making the tranny slip, as soon as I flash it back to standard the tranny is fine, does anybody know what part of the tune might be causing this to happen as im currently driving around as standard so I dont wreck my newly rebuilt transmission. These cars are pretty rare in Australia so finding somebody that has tuned 1 b4 is almost impossible. Any help would be appreciated, I dont know if somebody has done the same setup as me that already has a tune for theirs that might be able to be sent to me.

Where in Oz did you get it tuned? Did they take for a run after they tuned it? Sounds like the line pressures are way down if it's slipping - so I'd start looking there. If you're in Melbourne, I'd contact Chris from Bluepower - he's a genius at tuning XR6s and Xr8s using the Flash tuner, and the xcal2 shouldn't be too different to that.

I got it tuned in Newcastle near Sydney. The place thats tuning it does all my mates xr6 turbo falcons & is known as 1 of the best tuners for those sort of cars but he says the explorer is so much different. We already played with the pressures but it still slips until you put it back to stock.
