Hello Peoples. Simple Question.

For Service Should I Take My Ford To Dealership Or A Speacilty Shop (good Year, Midas, Aamco, Etc)?

It Always Seems I Get So So Service And Over Priced In My Opinion Cheap Motorcraft Parts.

Who Can I Trust?

Thanks.

Honestly, depends on the shop. There are good and bad dealers, the same with independent shops.

Generally, for a transmission or brakes and some other systems, I recommend Cottman Transmissions and a local shop you trust. For electrical problems, transfer case, emissions, the dealer is good. Other systems kinda fall in between.

And Motorcraft is generally the best part for your truck.

Thanks. It Tuff To Tell Which Is Best.

Actually Motorcraft parts are very good parts. The ford dealership just charges more. You could do a whole lot worse, like buying those cheap fram filters.

Word of mouth will do you a lot of good.
Ask people in your area who they patronise and what experiances they have had.
Do some research. Contact the BBB.
Look for ASE certified technicians at mechanic shops and I-CAR trained techs at body shops.
