2021 Explorer Timberline
2021 Timberline. So I have an unknown noise coming from I believe the steering column area. When the vehicle is in a "roll" motion it sounds as if a marble is rolling back and forth for a brief moment. The noise is not present over rough road conditions and does not present when stationary and just turning steering wheel back and forth. Typically happens when turning left or right quickly and subsequent body rolls. I have read that perhaps clock spring? Sorry if asked and answered. I did my best to research. Trying to get ducks in order before taking to dealership and getting the old "could not replicate". Thanks in advance.

If you end up at the dealership, try and get a tech to ride along so that you can point out the noise you are hearing. That is usually the best thing to do as you are familiar with it and they are not. Good luck.

Additionally, noise seems to disappear when vehicle has been driven a bit and cabin is warmed up (I live in colder climate). Haven't had the time/desire to take to dealer service. Bump for any ideas.
