Hello,
I recently purchased a 2016 Ford Explorer Limited. Unfortunately the dealership, which happened to not be ford, lost the navigation chip. They said they would order me one and would get it for like $20. The ones I have found for $20 are the A3 or A4 editions. Two questions here, is it safe to use one that I find on ebay which is an A7, on my vechicle? They say they are only compatible for model years 2011- 2015. So will it not work on a 2016? The dealrship wants to charge $180 but I can find it for more than half that cost for $80 that is why I ask. Last question is, is it worth getting the A7 or will any other A series work just fine?
