1st & 2nd Gen leaf spring question

1st & 2nd gen leaf springs are the same width are they not?

I was looking at Jackit.com because the sell Warior shackles. I noticed they sell AAL for Explorers as well. What they sell are Skyjacker AAL's.

They list them for 91-94 Explorers only.

They look thicker than the Pro Comp AAL's. I like this as I think I could forgo shackels by using the Skyjacker AAL's. Cost would be a little cheaper as well.

Does anyone have a reason why I could ot use the Skyjacker AAL's?

Thank You Colin. I was 99% sure that they will work but it's always better to ask.

15 yrs ago I had an '85 BII with a sagging rear and bought AAL's from Summit. I believe they were Trailmaster brand.When I got them the box said they were for a full size Dodge. I called Summit & they said yes they were right because they were universal fit.

They did fit fine but becuase they were made for a full size I got 4" of lift instead of 2" lift from them.
