hi, i bought a intake spacer off of ebay a while ago, but decided not to install it because it looks like absolute crap, half of the holes in the spacer dont even line up to the holes in the provided gaskit!!

is this a problem with name brand spacers like trickflow or FR?

im going to buy a good one so what aplication should i be looking for to put one on my explorer, for a regular mustang gt40 or a cobra mustang gt40?

thanks!!!

You need a spacer for a Cobra GT40 intake. Mustang GT's have different intakes and plentums. Some spacers have a hole in the middle for the EGR, some don't. Make sure to look and see if you need one with a hole or not. You shouldn't have a problem with a good namebrand spacer.

The cobra spacer is the best one to use as it ships with all of the proper length bolts. The regular mustang one will fit, but you will have to buy/make 2 new bolts for it(not a common off the shelf bolt)

This is the cobra spacer that I have, and I've helped put on a couple explorers as well.
