Ranger lift on Ex?

I have been hearing about have a ranger lift on a ex. I just want to know if thats a good idea? The Truxxx leveling lift that I was going to get its 2.5 in the front and rear but I want the ex higher than that.

i think that is the limit because the axle half shafts run through some pretty stupid locations... like a hole in the frame

Ranger lifts used to work on Explorers back when they shared the same chassis, which was 1991-2001 models. Your 06 has nothing in common with any year Ranger, lift-wise.
