Just noticed today that I have a transmission fluid leak. It's dripping from where the tranny hooks up to the engine. This tranny was rebuilt 17 months ago. Mileage is 80,500 miles. Less than 6,000 on rebuild. What is the most likely part of the tranny that has developed the leak? Is there a seal that was not properly installed that could be causing this? I assume that the tranny will have to be dropped to fix this. If it is a seal this should not be that big of a problem to fix? Thanks for the advice!
