No, you must use a different type. There is a way to modify the stock gauge if you search.

if you can get a t-fitting into the factory sender port, you can probably run both senders / gauges. no easy task on the 5.0. I know you dont have the same engine though. I didnt attempt it on mine; I put a sender in-lne with an oil filter relocation kit.
