Hello!

I've lurked on this site quite a bit in relation to my 92 explorer XL. I even had a few posts that were quick to be answered.

I was in the market for a new rig since ol 92 just has a few to many problems for my limited mechanical knowledge.

I wanted to express my gratitude for this forum and its members because I was able to pick up a 2000 Explorer XLT and the help that I have gotten on this forum really influenced my choice.

So pat yourselves on the back. Because YOU are amazing.

She creaked, groaned, rattled and grinded but she did me well since last June. I picked her up for 500$ but the list of problems is long so im not quite sure what to do with her.

Scored her for 1000$ and I couldn't be happier. The only known issue is having to give it some gas during cold startups until its warmed up.

Love them both.. The first gen needs some love but can be a very capable rig.. Welcome to the group!!
