My son stumbled across this new type of OBD II reader.

Anyone have experience with it?

Useful or worthless?

And

OBDLink® MX Bluetooth

YouTube Video says it works on all OBD II complaint cars.

Just a data reader though.

ForScan is limited just to Ford.

Just wondering if anyone has tried it?

You need this scanner to be able to use forscan.

Forscan is a reverse engineered version of IDS, which is Ford's vehicle software.

I’ve used it sometimes on my 2018. A lot of different parameters you can observe.
