Rear abs sensor

Could this cause my light to come on usually after I take off faster than normal from a dead stop and stay on the rest of the time. Also when I let off the gas could this cause it to shudder maybe attempting to engage and disengage The 4X4 or does that sound like rear ended or transmission problems?

What light. Assume ABS light

Yes a bad sensor can cause the ABS light to come on.
Yes the light but all the things that’s happening that I posted in this thread
 






Have you inspected the ABS sensor and wires. They can get damaged and cause issues you are describing.
Also when the wheel bearings starts to go bad this is also a symptom. Not necessarily because the bearing is sloppy, but because there the too much play between the tone ring on the hub and the sensor. The inconstant distance between the 2 causes an error reading . This throws the ABS code. This messes with the auto 4x4 .
