    Need help to install door lock actuator 99 Eddie Bauer

    I just spread the bracket apart just enough to slide one of the pins from the actuator out. If you have one there in front of you, it will be obvious. The old bracket never left the door and is still held in there from the factory rivet.

    Maybe 45 min, because I couldnt figure out what was holding the bracket to the door and had to go online. Other then getting the bracket off, it's not that difficult.

    I did mine in a day. They did kick my a$$ though, but I got them in. Most of my exhaust bolts were already loose, some not even finger tight.

    I had 35W 6000K in them, but only had the headlights for a couple months. I am really picky about lighting and the cut-off or lack of was bothering me when pulling up to the garage door. They are better then stock, but not what I was after. HID's run cooler and brighter then the same wattage...

    I had a set just like those. The light opening was opened up because the way the light is clocked in there and the 90 degree bend on the bulb holder, there is no way to get the bulb in there. The post above it is right where the 90 in the bulb holder needs to be to get it in. As far as bulbs...

    Did you POR15 the hitch? POR15 doesn't play well with the UV rays from the sun.

    Bad front hub bearing?

    I did the wiggle test on mine with the same symptoms and it didn't wiggle either. The bearing/hub was still bad though and smelled burnt when I pulled it off. Replaced the hub and no more noise.
