THe OD light will flash if there is a problem. It is kind of like a check engine light for the trans.

NGK Iridium plugs and Bougicord wires.

WOW! My 98 5.0 X get around 20mpg on the freeway and about 15 in town. I always average about 16.5 -17.5 mpg.

Go in through the fenders, there is a removable liner there. I put NGK Iridium core plugs in my 98. They burn a little hotter than the stock plugs. Good luck.

How many miles are on your plugs??? Don't think that anything is to simple. It's the simplest things that always get over looked.

The question you need to ask your self is: Is this car going to be worth it when its done? Could I buy a nicer one for that kind of money? Just a thought.

I have a 92 x and the rear antilock brake light is on . Is there any common problems with these older ones that should look for? It has about 235k on it.

I have a 94 X and the tach never drops below about 4 grand, but will go up past 4 grand if I floor it. Any suggestions?? By the way its got 230k on the ticker and stil going.
