Im wondering, if you can disable the 4wd auto by conecting an relay on the main cable to the transfer, box then you must be able to connect an indicator bulb to the same cable, so when it engages the front wheel the bulb light up... just fore fun actually, but also you get an indication that its slippery, am i right or wrong here??

I was thinking of doing the same thing

Just putting a switch under the seat and rewiring the backlight of the auto 4WD so it comes on when the clutch does. I'd put a small resistor in series with the lamp to extend the life and not make it so bright. Quite currious if it ever comes on when on dry pavement.

maybe not but, when its beginning to be really ****ty weather i could be nice to have it as a warning to take care... i guess that if an X is starting to slide, its just to brace oneself and enjoy the ride.... :D
