Hey guys,
I am getting irritated with this rear end whine problem. Has anyone bought a remanufactured, fully assembled 8.8 and simply swapped it in? I have read to many stories of people going to the dealer to get the TSB done (ring and pinion replaced) and then still having problems. If I am going to spend that much money, why not buy a completely rebuilt one from a reputable gear shop (Jasper, etc.) and then pay someone labor to swap it out.
Thoughts?
