My 98 limited just like the Eddie Bauer has a 8"sub-woofer in a factory box inside the rear passenger quarter panel, I need to replace, but it seems to be sealed in from the inside. Any suggestions on how I can remove it with minimal damage to the box, so I can install the one I bought to replace it?:feedback::feedback:

The sub is attached to the enclosure by a screw that is threaded into the rear of the speaker magnet. You have to remove the whole enclosure to get at it. In order to remove the enclosure you have to remove the whole right rear trim panel. A bit of a pain but it can be done. Search in the Audio and Nav section here for a writeup.

Its simple. You dont have to remove the entire panel, just enough to get to the three bolts that hold the box to the truck.
