Forscan OBDII plug-in

looking to make some changes to
My 2014 police utility. I need help on what OBDII USB to buy. I know that all are no equal. It seem that from YouTube I need one with a toggle switch. Can someone give me some help on witch one to buy. Thank in advance for the help.

Forscan.org has info on compatible adapters.

Elm327s are around $10, maybe less, on eBay. No need to spend $30 on one.

I don't see it explicitly posted, but for future people looking (and not just checking forscan.org), the current recommended adapter I believe it the ODBLink EX.

I got the OBDLink cable, and I also bought a USB extension cord (30M) it has a type of repeater with it and works fine for using my desktop computer inside the house with FORSCAN and since the OBDlink cable doesn't have a switch its very convenient.
