Power steering hose question.

I just became a new member to this website and i need some help.i have a power steering leak coming from a hose that is supposed to be connected to the pass side boot. i cant seem to get the hose back in the boot all the way. Is there something that im doing wrong or is there a certain way to get it to go in? if some body can help it will be great.I have a 98 ford explorer sport

Can you take a pic? Cauz the only boots that I can think of are at the end of the rack and they dont really have anything to do with the hoses.

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the stock 95-01 section. I wouldn't worry about that hose since it's not a hydraulic hose.

if you have fluid in that black hose, one of the rack's seals is leaking.
