Sun visor plastic clip

Okay, I have search forum and looked at my manual, but for the life of my cat (he has 8 lives to spare), what is the plastic clip on the visor for? It is not moveable, so don't think it is for sun glasses (plus you got a hidy compartment). So not sure of it's purpose.

I think you're right. It's just a handy, dandy clip to hold items such as parking lot tickets, passes etc. Never really noticed it before.

In NJ we have toll tickets for the NJ Turnpike. My old Volvos used to have a plastic clip attached to the pillar on the driver's side next to the windshield. I think Ford took the idea & moved it to the sun visor. I like it!
